Power of the Purse is Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest's biggest event of the year, packed with a POP Up Shop, live auction fashion show, dinner, and much more!

For more than 13 years, Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest has had the pleasure of hosting our annual gala, Power of the Purse. In the months prior to the event, many of Portland's most notable leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists work with local purse designers to create a one-of-a-kind handbag. Each piece is a unique work of art that will be auctioned off during a live fashion show presenting the fabulous handbags, the creative individuals who inspired the design, and the bright stars of the evening: our Girls Inc. girls! With extensive media coverage and notable 'Purse-o-nality' participants over the years, Power of the Purse has positioned itself as one of the most innovative and talked about events in our community.

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS

$25,000 | PRESENTING SPONSOR

  • Acknowledgement as Presenting Sponsor at the event and prominent logo placement above event name on all promotional materials and press releases including, but not limited to: invitations, signs, event program, event website, and social media.

  • Name recognition in all advertising as Presenting Sponsor.

  • Opportunity to display available purses prior to the event at retail location.

  • Opportunity to distribute promotional item at event to guests.

  • Acknowledgment from stage as Presenting Sponsor with opportunity for company representative to welcome guests.

  • Complimentary reserved seats in the first row of the live auction runway area for 20 guests with name/logo on each chair.

$12,500 | PARTNER SPONSOR

  • Acknowledgment as Partner Sponsor at the event and logo placement on all promotional materials and press releases including but not limited to: invitations, signs, event program, event website, and social media.

  • Opportunity to distribute promotional item at event to guests.

  • Complimentary reserved seats in the first row in the live auction runway area for 12 guests with name/logo on each chair.

  • Power of the Purse eNews feature to be produced by Girls Inc. staff or sponsor company.

  • A complimentary workshop based on one of the Girls Inc. curricula.

$5,000 | SUPPORTING SPONSOR

  • Acknowledgment as Supporting Sponsor at the event and logo placement on all promotional materials and press releases including but not limited to: invitations, signs, event program, event website, and social media.

  • Opportunity to distribute promotional item at event to guests.

  • Complimentary reserved seats in the live auction runway area for 8 guests with name/logo on each chair.

$2,500 | PATRON HOST

  • Acknowledgment as a Patron Host in the event program and website.

If you can’t attend the full event, we hope you’ll join us from 4:30-6:30pm Friday April 12th for some great shopping!
