WHAT IS THE EVENT:

The Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls class empowers girls to break down damaging cycles by giving them the tools, self-confidence and knowledge they need to achieve success in their future careers and personal lives.

This is Part 1: Discovering your Dreams & Exploring Careers

You will be taken through a interactive and hands on day that will allow you to better understand yourself and how to identify your dreams.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • This is PART 1 of 3 in a three part workshop that offers life & career readiness training.

  • Fill out the form below to be registered for the event.

  • There will be a Girls Inc staff present to assist and monitor. When the event is a week away you will receive an email with name of the Girls Inc staff as well as any other important event info.

  • There will be snacks provided by Girls Inc. but no formal lunch. If you are at all concerned about food, please bring some extra snacks so you can relax and enjoy yourself.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO:

  • Fill out the Eureka! Monthly Learning Session form below.

  • There will be food and snacks provided by both Girls Inc and by PSU. The food will not be allergy conscious. If you are at all concerned about food, please bring some extra snacks so you can relax and enjoy yourself.

WHAT PARENTS/GUARDIANS NEED TO KNOW:

  • This is a youth focused event. Expect to drop off your youth and come back to pick them up when the event is done.

  • The event is at PCC in northeast Portland. Parking will be free & ample in the surrounding neighborhoods. There are many fun things to do nearby if you want to make a day of it
