WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Get monthly learning session (MLS) credit for going to a free event! To get MLS credit for this event you need to: fill out the registration form below & and email the Eureka! Manager with a picture of yourself at the event.

  • This is an independent monthly learning session. However, there will be Girls Inc. staff present from 1 PM - 2 PM.

  • We do not yet know if there will be snacks provided.

  • Learn how different factors in the environment may impact the risk of tick borne illnesses to humans.

  • Explore innovative products made from trees and understand what more can be done with them.

  • Help grow back a forest after a wildfire and discover how climate change may impact the process.

  • Learn how we can use carbon and nanotechnology to clean water.

  • Test if soil can (or cannot) hold enough water for plants to regrow after a wildfire.

WHAT DO PARENTS/GUARDIANS NEED TO KNOW:

  • This is a youth focused event. Expect to drop off your youth and come back to pick them up when the event is done.

  • This event is at OMSI and there is paid parking available.
