Day of the Girl is the perfect opportunity to get a glimpse into Girls Inc. programming, meet and interact with the girls we serve, and learn more about the role you can play in inspiring the Power of Her

The United Nations established October 11 as International Day of the Girl in December 2011 to raise awareness about the challenges facing girls and women worldwide. Join us, and thousands of others across the globe, to celebrate the power of every girl in our community. Day of the Girl is the perfect introductory fundraising event as our guests will have the opportunity to meet our strong, smart, and bold Girls Inc. girls, explore our breadth of research-based programming, and learn about the role they can play in inspiring the Power of Her.

2017 DETAILS

Thanks to the support of our generous community, we raised over $90,000 at our 6th Annual Day of the Girl Luncheon!

Attendees got to listen to the courageous Girls Inc. girls, Audrey and Destiny, who shared their stories with all of us to show the full impact of Girls Inc. programming. Everyone also got to see Girls Inc. programming in action, with activity stations around the ballroom for all to join in!

This event allowed Girls Inc. girls to not only see the immense amount of support available to them in our community, but to believe that they too can become the kind of women they dream of being.

A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor First Tech Credit Union, and all of our sponsors, for investing in the Power of Her.

A special thanks to our amazing guest speakers Nicole Frisch, Tra'Renee Chambers, Rep. Janelle Bynum, and Tracy Curtis; we feel incredibly lucky to have their continued support. And thanks to our entire community for supporting girls to be strong, smart, and bold!
